Easy to Make Ham and Cheese Sliders

These Ham and Cheese Sliders are simple and always a crowd pleaser. Great for game day or to bring to the next get together. Notice a tip for making this even easier to make.

Yields: 6 servings


  • 12 Hawaiian rolls or similar sweet rolls
  • 1/4 cup of mayonnaise
  • Ham salad (sliced ham, mayo and salt and pepper)
  • Cheese (Swiss, Provolone, or whatever you like)
  • Butter dressing (5 tablespoon of butter, onion powder, Worcestershire sauce and Dijon mustard)
  • Poppy seeds, optional


  1. Leave the rolls attached to each other and using a bread knife, slice your Hawaiian bread to separate the tops and bottoms.
  2. Coat the base of the rolls with mayonnaise.
  3. Tip: Instead of using slices of ham, create a ham salad and spread that on the base.
  4. Top with cheese..
  5. Replace the tops.
  6. Place in a shallow casserole or baking dish.
  7. Brush the top with butter dressing.
  8. Add poppy seeds, optional
  9. Cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 18 minutes.
  10. Remove the foil and let it cook for additional 2 minutes.
  11. Gently cut apart the rolls to make individual servings.
