Roasted Bacon Balsamic Brussels Sprouts

Brussels sprouts are a fall vegetable that is high in Vitamins C and K.  High in fiber, they are also a source of Omega-3 fatty acids.  This recipe is really a crowd pleaser.

Kitchen Dads™ - Roasted Balsamic Brussels Sprouts with Bacon Recipe

Prep Time: 15 mins
Cook Time: 30 mins
Yields: 4 to 8 servings


  • 16 ounces of brussels sprouts
  • 4 - 6 ounces of bacon
  • 4 - 5 teaspoons of olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. Trim the base of the Brussels sprouts and cut them in half or quarter so they are relatively uniform in size. Place on a sheet pan.
  2. Spread raw bacon over Brussels sprouts..
  3. Pour olive oil over Brussels sprouts and bacon.
  4. Add salt and pepper to taste. Mix to be sure everything is coated with oil.
  5. Place them in a 400 degrees oven for about 25 to 35 minutes.
  6. Plate onto a serving dish. .
  7. Garnish with a balsamic glaze and serve.
