Italian Roasted Broccoli Parmesan

We’re taking Roasted Broccoli and giving it an Italian flare. It’s satisfying, tastes great and you are getting a serving of veggies to boot!

Kitchen Dads™ - Roasted Broccoli Parmesan with Tomatoes and Mozzarella

Cook Time: 30 mins
Yields: 4 to 8 servings


  • 1 large head of brocolli
  • 6-10 gloves of garlic
  • 4-5 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 cup tomato sauce or marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Parmesan cheese
  • Salt


  1. Trim broccoli into florets and place it on a sheet pan.
  2. Peel and smash garlic and add to the broccoli.
  3. Drizzle with olive oil.
  4. Add salt to taste.
  5. Roast your broccoli in a 400 degrees oven for about 20 minutes. Turning broccoli over at the 10 minute mark to cook evenly.
  6. Once done, take it out of the oven and coat it with some tomato or marinara sauce.
  7. Add shredded mozzarella cheese on top.
  8. Place it back in the oven for 10 minutes or just enough to melt the cheese.
  9. Add some Parmesan cheese.
  10. Serve it as a side dish or an entree'.
