Mozzarella Caprese Salad Two Ways

It’s summer and tomatoes are exploding everywhere. What are we going to do with all of these delicious tomatoes? Use them to make an amazing Mozzarella Caprese Salad!

We’re building our salad two different ways. The first way is a traditional “stacked” method. The second is a more rustic version that I call the “Mario Batali Method”.  It looks great, is perfect for serving large groups of people, and actually, it is much faster.

This is a summer recipe. You can’t do this in the middle of winter because the quality of tomatoes is nowhere near as good!
